About Us

The Oakwood Area Food Pantry provides supplemental groceries for approximately 40 families a week. Our Bags of Hope program, which provides meals and snacks for the weekend, currently has 39 students participating. 

We serve qualifying residents that live in Oakwood, Muncie, Fithian, Fairmount, Catlin, Indianola and Sidell. 

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is entirely led by volunteers that manage and order inventory, execute weekly food distributions & fundraise.
