About Us

The Oakwood Area Food Pantry provides supplemental groceries for approximately 40 families every week.

Our Bags of Hope program provides weekend meals and snacks for children attending school in our service area. Currently, 32 students from Oakwood and 34 students from Salt Fork are participating.

We serve qualifying residents that live in Oakwood, Muncie, Fithian, Fairmount, Catlin, Indianola and Sidell. 

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is entirely led by volunteers that manage and order inventory, execute weekly food distributions & fundraise.
